Letterbound is developed by Alexsander Barbosa Siqueira · T3chForge. Contact: alexsandert3ch@gmail.com. This policy covers the Android app and its web demonstration. Updated October 11, 2026.
Progress and preferences
Levels, discovered words, journal, settings and confirmation of ad removal stay on your device. There is no game account, chat or online leaderboard. The studio does not receive your moves. Android automatic backup is disabled. Clearing data or uninstalling may erase progress; restarting the garden preserves your purchase.
Advertising
The free Android version uses Google AdMob banners on the home screen, map and after completing levels. Banners are not displayed during gameplay. The SDK may collect and share IP addresses and derived approximate location, device and advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostics for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. We do not request precise location, camera, microphone or contacts. Google UMP offers consent choices where applicable; you can review advertising preferences in settings. Without internet or an available ad, the game continues. The web demonstration does not initialize AdMob.
One-time purchase and restoration
Google Play processes the optional purchase to remove all ads. The app does not receive card numbers. Google Play Billing queries the product and purchases for your store account; the app locally verifies receipt signatures and acknowledges purchases with the store. The permanent product is not consumed and is not a subscription. Pending purchases do not remove ads until confirmed. Google Play supplies the displayed price in your account currency. Use Restore purchase with the same store account. The confirmed status lets you play ad-free offline; later store queries update refunds and revocations. Google Play processes purchase history and technical information needed for payments and fraud prevention. The studio does not keep receipts on its own server.
Security, retention and providers
Local data remains until erased by the user. Google services use encrypted connections and may process data outside your country under their policies, legal obligations and fraud prevention measures. T3chForge does not set the retention period for data held by Google.
Your choices and deletion
To erase progress, use Restart my garden in settings. To also erase preferences, open Android Settings > Apps > Letterbound > Storage > Clear data. You can restore the permanent purchase using the same Google Play account. For information, access, correction or deletion requests relating to provider data, email alexsandert3ch@gmail.com with the subject Letterbound — privacy. Describe your request and the service involved; do not send passwords or card numbers. We may verify requests and direct them to Google when it is responsible for the data. Payment and fraud prevention records may require legal retention. Data deletion does not cancel a purchase or guarantee a refund; Google Play rules apply.
